Ayenk inc.

Website for a multidisciplinary group working across architecture, real estate development, media, and planning.

TASK

AYENK was set up as a holding company with several businesses under one name: AYENK inc., covering architecture, design and masterplanning, and AYENK Development, covering strategic development, partnership and investment.

That created a specific problem for the website. The two audiences barely overlap — someone looking for an architecture bureau and someone looking for an investment partner want different things and have no reason to read through each other's content. A conventional homepage would have to lead with one of them and bury the rest.

The brief was to build the entry point for the group: a page whose job is to route people, not to sell to them.

PROCESS

A routing page has a constraint most landing pages do not: it cannot have a hero. A hero means deciding which business speaks first, and inside a holding company that decision is political as much as it is editorial.

So the split had to be presented at equal weight. Both entities sit side by side on the first screen with their own three-word descriptors — Architecture, Design, Masterplanning against Strategic Development, Partnership, Investment — so a visitor recognises their own path by reading three words rather than by scrolling.

Everything else was subtracted. The page carries no service list, no project grid, no company statement: anything that starts explaining the group as a whole delays the only decision the visitor came to make.

SOLUTION

The result is a splitter page. The first screen presents the two entities of the group at equal weight, each with its descriptor and its own route onward, over a full-bleed dark presentation of the group's work.

Location is stated plainly — Miami, Florida. For both audiences, where the group operates is a qualifying fact, not a footer detail.

The page is deliberately quiet: dark background, minimal type, slow imagery. It is the front door of a holding company, and its job is to make the visitor's choice obvious within the first seconds.

RESULT

The site is live at ayenk.us. The project is still in progress — the entry point is in place, and the individual directions of the group are being built out from it.
